Oversee tax planning, compliance, and complex return reviews for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and related entities. Lead client engagements, supervise and develop staff, manage budgets and profitability, support business development and recruiting, and maintain strong client relationships. Apply expertise in hedge fund K-1s and individual and business tax returns while leveraging tax technology and process improvements.

Conduct federal income tax research and analysis; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and domestic tax due diligence; draft tax memos, emails, and firm-wide alerts; and assist with federal income tax training. The role requires extensive experience advising on partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations, along with a law degree and strong tax research skills.

Lead and supervise FEMA-related consulting engagements supporting state/local disaster recovery programs. Ensure FEMA and 2 CFR 200 compliance, manage financial and accounting activities, expedite disaster closeouts, support business development, and guide team growth and quality of client deliverables. May involve travel and extended hours.

Provide federal income tax research and analysis for partnerships, S and C corporations; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and due diligence; draft memos, firm alerts, and training materials; mentor and advance within the National Tax Office.

Lead national tax research and analysis on federal income tax issues including accounting methods, partnerships and LLCs; support M&A and internal restructurings; draft memos, firm-wide alerts, and trainings.

Provide tax controversy support including IRS examinations and appeals, penalty abatement and collection matters, tax research and memoranda, account correspondence, and assistance with training and thought leadership.

Manage IRS examinations, appeals, collection matters, and penalty/relief requests; perform federal tax research and memos; correspond with IRS, mentor staff, and contribute to training and thought leadership.

Provide FEMA program compliance and financial support to state/local clients: ensure audit readiness, expedite disaster closeouts, manage cost tracking and reconciliation, advise on program implementation, and support business development and client deliverables.
