Manage monthly financial close and general ledger accounting for Paya Holdings, including accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, commissions, software capitalization, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements. Ensure IFRS compliance and effective internal controls, support flux analysis, lead financial close automation improvements, assist with ERP implementation, and collaborate across business units. This is a 10-month maternity leave contract.

Manage strategic payment-processing partners by building executive relationships, driving revenue growth, identifying market and merchant opportunities, and supporting implementations and product adoption. Develop partner strategies, advocate for partner needs, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage strategic deals from pitch through launch, maintain Salesforce records, and execute marketing programs that increase partner advocacy and merchant processing volume.

Owns card brand and bank invoice expense processes, accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and quarterly scheme submissions. Downloads and loads invoices, runs SQL queries, identifies billing anomalies and variances, reconciles expenses to the general ledger, creates bank invoices, and monitors opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. The role supports finance leadership with research, reporting accuracy, and issue resolution.
