Leads independent monitoring of Airwallex’s global financial crime compliance framework, assessing AML and sanctions controls, identifying gaps and emerging risks, and driving remediation. The role builds risk-based monitoring across key FCC areas, reports program effectiveness and risk exposure to senior leadership and the Board, and partners with FCC, MLRO, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.

Advise on payments and financial-services regulatory matters across the Americas, including licensing, money transmission, payment flows, product launches, filings, and regulatory developments. Partner with legal, compliance, risk, product, strategy, and commercial teams; translate complex requirements into practical guidance; manage external counsel; support government-relations work; and contribute to regulatory projects across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

Lead and grow a US-based SDR team to generate and qualify SME-to-growth pipeline, hire and coach SDRs, implement handoff processes, enforce quality control, and align with AEs to meet pipeline and sales metrics.

Research and identify prospective clients, engage them through email, phone, and social media, understand their needs, present Airwallex solutions, qualify opportunities, and schedule appointments for Account Executives. Lead and scale a team of full-cycle Account Executives focused on SMB acquisition. Own revenue, pipeline health, deal quality, and execution velocity. Coach AEs on discovery, negotiation, and closing; enforce pipeline discipline, CRM hygiene, and metrics-driven operations. Partner with outbound and cross-functional teams to refine ICPs, improve win rates, and leverage data/AI and sales tools to improve forecasting and deal strategy.

Provide senior regulatory legal advice for Airwallex Americas on payments and financial services. Manage licensing, registrations, compliance obligations, regulator engagement, cross-border product support, regulatory strategy, and external counsel. Partner with product, compliance, risk, and commercial teams to enable market expansion and ensure timely regulatory filings while improving efficiency with AI and legaltech tools.
