Summer intern supporting orthopedic sales and field operations. Responsibilities include shadowing sales and operations teams, preparing sales presentations, developing target account lists and marketing strategies, learning selling and instrument-use techniques, assisting with surgical instrument kit delivery and warehouse preparation, coordinating with product teams, and completing special projects. The role is field-based and requires approximately 40% travel.

Processes replenishment orders for sales representatives, manages inventory transactions and product movement using WMS/ERP systems, and coordinates returns, shipments, and field transfers. Performs cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, troubleshoots order and workflow issues, and maintains accurate documentation. Partners with Sales and Distribution teams to resolve internal customer needs, provides timely communication, and identifies process improvements while following safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Lead sustaining engineering for Sports Medicine products: drive design and process changes, assess supplier/material/manufacturing impacts, perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions, author engineering documentation, apply design controls and risk management, partner with suppliers, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement product changes and maintain supply continuity.

Support Finance processes and SAP functionality to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting. Troubleshoot system issues, analyze data, recommend process improvements, lead/mentor finance users, manage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, represent Finance on cross-functional SAP initiatives, ensure SOX/financial compliance alignment, and support business readiness and change management.
