Leads GitLab’s public-sector renewals organization across Federal, State and Local, and Education accounts. Manages and develops Renewal Managers, improves forecast accuracy, oversees renewal risks, drives retention and expansion, and establishes scalable operating processes. Partners with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Product, Operations, and channel partners to support complex procurement and licensing cycles. Owns workforce planning, coverage, territory strategy, reporting, and leadership development for the renewals team.

Owns execution and outcomes for the Chief Customer Officer’s strategic portfolio, including go-to-market transformation, retention and renewal programs, product feedback loops, and executive account engagement. The role also establishes operating standards for a growing programs function in a globally distributed environment.

Build reusable backend platforms and developer-facing tooling for performance testing, analysis, reporting, and AI-assisted engineering workflows. Enable service teams to independently incorporate performance testing into development and CI workflows through self-service capabilities, documentation, templates, diagnostics, and guidance. Partner with engineering teams, influence adoption, generalize solutions, and provide expertise on complex performance challenges.

Leads cross-team backend initiatives and technical architecture for GitLab’s Core DevOps platform. Responsibilities include modernizing a monolith, establishing service, API, data, security, testing, and observability standards, guiding Go and Kubernetes practices, supporting Rust adoption, participating in incident response, mentoring engineers, reducing technical debt, and advancing AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Lead sales enablement for GitLab’s Public Sector business across Federal, State, Local, and Education markets. Develop tailored training, content, job aids, assessments, onboarding, and compliance guidance; partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams; support procurement and contracting processes; align enablement with product launches and industry events; train teams on Salesforce, Clari, Claude, and related tools; and measure program effectiveness against business outcomes.

Supports revenue operations by maintaining go-to-market policies, rules of engagement, documentation, and data. Responds to policy questions, assists with dispute resolution, applies established policies, identifies process gaps, and coordinates with sales, compensation, strategy, and systems teams. This remote entry-level role requires careful data review, organization, clear communication, and consistent policy application.

Build and lead a globally distributed DevOps engineering team responsible for reliable platform capabilities and repository experiences. Hire, mentor, and develop engineers; guide architecture, security, performance, and maintainability; align delivery with product and design; improve agile workflows and execution; integrate AI-assisted tooling; and support operational health, reliability, and incident management.

Sources and engages passive candidates for sales roles across the AMER region, primarily Account Executives. Builds talent pipelines, maps competitive markets, screens candidates, partners with recruiters and hiring managers, maintains applicant tracking data, and improves outbound sourcing strategies and candidate experience in a fully remote environment.

Advise U.S. government customers on GitLab’s DevSecOps platform throughout the presales cycle. Responsibilities include technical demos, presentations, workshops, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value delivery, proposal and audit support, solution design, customer success planning, stakeholder relationship building, value stream assessments, and communicating customer feedback to internal teams.

Advises U.S. government customers on GitLab’s DevSecOps platform throughout the sales cycle. Leads technical evaluations, tailored demos, workshops, proofs of concept and value, proposal input, and deployment handoffs. Partners with sales and cross-functional teams to develop account strategies, build customer relationships, conduct value stream assessments, and communicate customer feedback internally. Requires technical pre-sales or consulting experience, GitLab and DevSecOps knowledge, cloud experience, and strong communication skills.
