Design, analyze, and operate spacecraft space-to-ground communication links. Own link budgets, modulation/coding, crypto hardware architectures, ground station integration, CONOPS for nominal and contingency operations, and lead RF link test campaigns to validate end-to-end performance across flight software and ground teams.

Lead selection, qualification, and standardization of high-reliability EEE components for space/aerospace products. Responsibilities include requirements definition, architecture trades, mechanical/thermal design and analysis, manufacturing/assembly oversight, environmental test support (vibe, shock, TVAC), qualification, in-orbit support, cross-functional interfacing, mentoring engineers, presenting to customers/executives, and contributing to proposals.

Lead EMI/EMC engineering for space systems: develop control plans, perform analysis and testing (MIL-STD-461, DO-160, ECSS), run electromagnetic simulations, resolve non-compliance, document results, and mentor junior engineers.

Manage and improve software development lifecycle for aerospace embedded firmware. Plan and lead planning meetings, standups, and retrospectives; maintain backlog and issue tracking (Jira); prioritize features; report status to stakeholders; interface with customers/vendors; ensure correct lifecycle execution and continuous process improvement.

Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software across microcontrollers and Linux SBCs. Implement drivers, BSPs, APIs (including FPGA interfaces), perform code reviews, QA, optimize I/O, integrate hardware, support in-orbit products, and present designs to customers.

Design, develop, and own PCB-level spacecraft hardware from requirements through production. Translate system requirements into robust board designs, perform integration and troubleshooting, conduct part selection trade studies, create block diagrams, and work cross-functionally with software, FPGA, thermal, and mechanical teams.
