The Commercial Legal Director will draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, technology, data, advertising, licensing, and partnership agreements. The role advises Sales, Partnerships, Product, and other teams on contractual, privacy, data security, and commercial risks; supports deal structuring and execution; maintains legal templates and playbooks; and improves legal processes. The position requires a business-minded approach, strong negotiation skills, technology and privacy knowledge, and experience practicing commercial law in-house or at a firm.

Supports the Talent Acquisition function through interview coordination, candidate communication, sourcing, resume screening, recruiting workflow management, offer administration, background checks, and feedback tracking. Partners with hiring managers and the Head of Talent Acquisition to maintain efficient, equitable hiring processes, improve recruiting operations, and support lower-complexity full-cycle searches as experience develops.

Leads revenue growth within a defined industry vertical by developing strategy, managing enterprise sales teams, building VP-level client relationships, overseeing pipeline and forecasting, and delivering cross-functional solutions. Responsibilities include hiring and coaching sellers, developing thought leadership, influencing product roadmaps, managing quotas and operating expenses, and executing joint business plans with strategic clients.

Drive new business revenue through consultative, data-driven sales and strategic partnerships. Use purchase intelligence to identify client opportunities, develop tailored solutions, deliver executive-level presentations, manage complex stakeholders, accelerate onboarding, conduct client reviews, and exceed revenue goals. Build long-term relationships, generate pipeline, close high-value deals, and demonstrate measurable advertising ROI.

Partner with business leaders to produce consolidated P&Ls, forecasts, variance analysis, and executive reporting. Own monthly close cycles, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, capex, and ad-hoc financial modeling. Drive process improvements, collaborate with Accounting, respond to financial inquiries, and build business cases to support value-based decisions in a high-growth environment.

Architect and lead a Databricks-based MLOps and forecasting platform for campaign projections, lift analysis, and budget forecasting. Build scalable data and model pipelines, establish CI/CD and telemetry standards, integrate real-time systems, and improve model deployment and monitoring. Collaborate with applied scientists and business stakeholders on technical strategy, mentor senior engineers, and support GenAI-enabled workflows.

Serve as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership, driving budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, valuation analyses, Board and Audit Committee reporting, and corporate development evaluation. Provide actionable insights, support cross-functional financial controls and external communications, mentor Strategic Finance team members, and identify process improvements and automation opportunities to support long-term growth and capital allocation decisions.

Lead architecture and evolution of Cardlytics' AWS-based data compute platform and lakehouse. Define standards for batch, streaming, ML, and AI workloads; build semantic layer, feature store, and governance. Partner with analysts and engineers, drive CI/CD (Terraform, GitHub Actions), monitoring, security, cost governance, and incident response while mentoring teams and shaping platform strategy.
