Perform contamination analysis and material evaluation using analytical instrumentation (FTIR, GCMS, SEM/EDS, TGA, etc.), support failure investigations, develop lab processes, author technical documentation, maintain lab operations and safety, and train/coordinate junior staff. Lead OPIR mission architecture, perform trade studies and MBSE, define CONOPS, support IRAD and new business pursuits, mentor teams, engage customers, and integrate OPIR data into operational workflows and products.

Integrate, plan, develop, and execute RF payload test campaigns for spaceflight instruments. Build and automate RF test setups, perform performance and environmental qualification, analyze data, troubleshoot with design/firmware teams, support AI&T flows and test readiness, maintain engineering/test records, and provide technical oversight to engineers and technicians.

Lead mission architecture, design, analysis, and execution for space-based OPIR systems. Perform trade studies, define CONOPS and system architectures, support new business capture and IRAD concepts, mentor teams, and deliver engineering products connecting OPIR sensor capabilities to operational workflows and ground enterprise operations.

Perform systems engineering for spacecraft and ground systems, develop and document commands and telemetry, manage spacecraft configurations via Flight Software Tables, design and maintain command/telemetry systems and tools, support integration and test, troubleshoot and resolve anomalies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain on-site presence to support mission objectives.

Design and develop real-time embedded algorithms and models for mission payload systems (EO/IR, tracking, orbit determination). Perform system-level engineering, modeling & simulation, provide technical direction to junior engineers, and communicate mission-level results to peers and customers in a classified environment.
