Provides program-level systems engineering leadership for advanced space and mission systems. Owns mission architecture, technical requirements baselines, requirements allocation and verification, technical budgets, trade studies, interface development, and major design reviews across the program lifecycle. Leads multidisciplinary systems engineering teams, coordinates with customers, suppliers, program management, and engineering groups, applies MBSE, supports integration and validation, manages technical risks and opportunities, and mentors systems engineers.

The role supports full system lifecycles from concept through operations and requires expertise in aerospace electronics, closed-loop stability, feedback sensors, and qualified design practices.

Leads the design, architecture, requirements, integration, and testing of enterprise satellite ground systems for government and commercial customers. Mentors systems engineers, manages requirements and interfaces, supports trade studies and risk assessments, leads design reviews and change boards, and presents technical solutions to customers and management. The role requires collaboration across engineering disciplines in an on-site Agile environment and involves supporting ground-system test, security, readiness, and sell-off milestones.

Design, develop, integrate, align, and test optical systems for airborne and space-based instruments. Lead subsystem development, procure and validate optical components, perform hands-on hardware and analytical work, support proposals and design reviews, and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Provide cybersecurity engineering support for programs: validate security requirements and designs, perform technical assessments and A&A documentation under NIST RMF, support incident response, identify and mitigate system risks, and implement enterprise security controls using tools like Splunk, Tenable, and HBSS. Requires coordination with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders and maintaining system Authorizations to Operate.

Provide cybersecurity engineering support to develop, validate, and maintain secure systems. Manage cyber requirements, perform technical security assessments, support Incident Response and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) per NIST RMF, produce A&A documentation, mitigate risks, and advise architects and program stakeholders on security design and compliance.
