Lead subsystem development, procure and validate optical components, perform hands-on hardware and analytical work, support proposals and design reviews, and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Design and certify Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) and Special Test Equipment from concept through delivery. Perform CAD modeling and design analysis, define interfaces, support manufacturing/assembly/testing, manage requirements and change control, provide technical oversight of subcontracts, and deliver sustaining engineering through first use while meeting cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

Design and develop state-of-the-art optical systems for airborne and space instruments, lead optical sub-system development and alignment, procure and validate optical components, perform hands-on hardware work and analysis, contribute to proposals/RFIs/white papers, present at design reviews, and collaborate across disciplines.

Design and certify Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) and Special Test Equipment from concept through delivery. Lead and manage a Systems Engineering team across Mission Engineering, Core Systems Engineering, or Mission Integration. Define and enforce SE processes, lead cross-functional teams, oversee training and career development, support enterprise best practices, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Provide leadership, planning, and executional oversight while ensuring security and on-site engagement.
