Supports manufacturing and testing of modular spacecraft components. Responsibilities include developing subsystem testbeds, creating manufacturing procedures, building fixtures and test jigs, troubleshooting defects, improving processes, and developing consistent test-data pipelines. The role involves hands-on hardware assembly, soldering, verification, and potential use of battery systems, environmental test equipment, Python, or LabVIEW.

Leads vehicle-level engineering for a LEO in-space assembly mission, including requirements, subsystem integration, technical budgets, verification, schedules, trade studies, design reviews, launch-provider coordination, and hosted-payload integration. The role requires spacecraft development experience through launch, cross-disciplinary engineering expertise, environmental test experience, and ownership of mission performance, cost, and schedule.

Supports guidance, navigation, and control development for reconfigurable spacecraft. Responsibilities include modeling electromagnetic docking dynamics, developing rendezvous and docking control algorithms, supporting attitude determination and control, evaluating sensors, and building simulation tools and dashboards for hardware and on-orbit validation.

Manufacturing and test engineering intern supporting spacecraft tile production and subsystem verification. Responsibilities include developing testbeds, creating manufacturing procedures, optimizing processes, building fixtures and test jigs, troubleshooting defects, and improving test data pipelines. The role requires hands-on hardware assembly, soldering, written-procedure adherence, and attention to detail. Preferred experience includes battery assembly, environmental testing, test automation, data logging, and quality or manufacturing processes.

Develop physics models, control and estimation algorithms, and simulation tools for reconfigurable spacecraft. The intern will support rendezvous, proximity operations, docking, attitude determination and control, sensor trade studies, and verification through dashboards, hardware testbeds, and eventual on-orbit applications.

Develop flight software for modular spacecraft, including C/C++ device drivers, firmware, embedded Linux, microcontroller systems, fault-tolerant software, hardware-in-the-loop testing, CI, and board integration. The role involves working with sensors, actuators, avionics, and spacecraft systems while building and debugging software for mission-critical environments.

Develops and owns spacecraft test strategies, plans, procedures, infrastructure, and readiness documentation. Executes component, subsystem, and system-level functional, environmental, structural, EMI/EMC, and performance testing. Analyzes data, investigates anomalies, leads root-cause resolution, and drives corrective actions. Collaborates with design, manufacturing, and avionics teams while supporting design reviews and major test events. The role contributes to flight demonstration and operational spacecraft programs.

Owns the vehicle-to-vehicle wireless communications chain for modular spacecraft, including radio, antennas, link budgets, firmware, embedded Linux drivers, mesh networking, calibration, environmental qualification, and measured performance. The role interfaces with flight software and avionics teams and leads RF development from architecture through flight qualification. Senior candidates need substantial RF, antenna, wireless PHY/MAC, measurement, and embedded Linux experience.

Own spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control across rendezvous, docking, assembly, attitude control, state estimation, simulation, testing, and flight operations. Develop C++ and Python algorithms, maintain six-degree-of-freedom simulations, conduct Monte Carlo and hardware-in-the-loop verification, define GNC architectures and requirements, select sensors and actuators, and support on-orbit anomaly investigations for reconfigurable spacecraft.

Develop and test flight software, ground station tools, communication protocols, and simulation environments for modular spacecraft. The intern will support telemetry visualization, command sequencing, distributed systems, embedded platforms, and software-hardware debugging alongside electrical engineers. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant degree and have experience with C/C++, Python, networking, embedded Linux, or bare-metal firmware. Robotics, drone, satellite, real-time systems, and embedded communication experience are preferred.
