Designs electrical systems for data centers, industrial buildings, offices, and other large construction projects. Performs calculations, reviews and seals designs, evaluates equipment, prepares specifications, reviews submittals and change orders, conducts site visits and inspections, and supports commissioning. The engineer manages project deadlines and budgets, coordinates with clients and vendors, and mentors junior staff. Data center load management, programming, power systems, and applicable building and NFPA codes are central to the role.

Leads mechanical engineering and serves as Engineer of Record for complex data center projects. Designs HVAC, chilled water, and mission-critical cooling systems; reviews technical documents; coordinates multidisciplinary teams; oversees projects through construction; manages budgets and schedules; conducts equipment and energy analyses; mentors engineers; seals designs; and supports proposals and client presentations.
