Supports mid-market customers across pre- and post-sales engagements by conducting technical discovery, designing cloud and hosting solutions, delivering demonstrations and workshops, and supporting proofs of concept. The role focuses on WordPress, ecommerce, managed hosting, performance, security, migrations, and hybrid cloud solutions. It partners with sales, product, implementation, engineering, and customer success teams while contributing to technical proposals, enablement, process improvements, and mentoring junior sales engineers.

Leads and develops the Data Engineering team while remaining hands-on with scalable pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data warehouses, integrations, and infrastructure. Establishes architecture, reliability, quality, and performance standards; guides technical strategy; improves automation and monitoring; and partners with Finance and business stakeholders to translate data needs into practical solutions.

Designs scalable cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal infrastructure solutions during the pre-sales process. Leads technical discovery, architecture design, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, cost estimates, and TCO modeling. Partners with Sales, Engineering, Product, vendors, and customers to ensure technically sound solutions and successful delivery. Requires expertise in cloud platforms, networking, GPU infrastructure, and customer-facing technical consulting.

Own Nexcess and Servers.com social presence across LinkedIn and Reddit, including strategy, calendars, copy, community engagement, original content, short-form video, campaigns, and events. Enable internal subject matter experts to publish, manage the Reddit agency, maintain brand voice, and use social listening and performance data to guide decisions. The role requires translating technical cloud topics into engaging B2B content and growing engagement among target buyers.

Own the full sales cycle for high-volume, short-cycle digital cloud deals, including outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, follow-up, closing, quota attainment, and clean handoffs to Account Managers. Collaborate with Sales, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Account Management teams while maintaining strong activity levels and competitive leaderboard performance.
