Leads the shelter’s complete HR function, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, compensation, safety, compliance, and employee engagement. Advises executive leadership, coaches managers, administers Paycom HCM, manages benefits renewal and enrollment, maintains employment policies and records, and supervises the Volunteer Program Manager. The role requires handling sensitive employment matters, Colorado and federal compliance, and urgent employee issues in a hybrid animal shelter environment.
