Join Arootah's advisor network to provide fractional Chief Compliance Officer–level, project-based compliance leadership for hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices. Advise on SEC/regulatory matters, design and improve compliance programs, conduct reviews and risk assessments, support exams and due diligence, and partner with leadership to strengthen governance and controls.

Consult as a Director-level technologist for alternative asset firms and family offices: assess tech practices, advise CTOs, lead application and infrastructure projects, oversee cybersecurity, disaster recovery, vendor selection, KPIs, and team governance to align technology roadmaps with business needs.

Provide fractional compliance advisory to alternative investment firms and family offices: develop and implement compliance programs, Form ADV filings, policies, controls, training, regulatory exam readiness, risk assessments, remediation, and ad-hoc projects.

Provide fractional paralegal support to alternative investment clients: prepare fund formation documents, manage investor onboarding and KYC/AML, coordinate regulatory filings and examinations, maintain corporate records and document systems, assist with contracts, legal research, HR legal matters, and support special projects and outside counsel.

Consult on fund and portfolio accounting for hedge funds and family offices: price portfolios, process accounting entries, prepare reconciliations and NAV reviews, liaise with administrators/auditors, produce financial statements, investor reporting, performance analysis, and implement controls, policies, and vendor oversight.

Provide fractional cybersecurity advisory and hands-on operations for hedge funds and family offices: conduct assessments, run vulnerability management and incident response, implement policies and controls, monitor logs and network traffic, test BCDR plans, advise on vendor selection, and report KPIs and remediation plans.

Consult as a portfolio manager for hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices: optimize asset allocation, select investments, conduct deep fundamental research, manage cash and risk, build performance reporting and analytics, streamline processes, ensure compliance and trade processing, and advise clients on action plans and portfolio strategy.

Serve as a fractional Controller for alternative asset firms and family offices: manage financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, AR/AP, cash forecasting, audit/tax support, build controls, advise on vendor selection, implement policies, and deliver KPI-based analysis and pro forma financial models to senior leadership on project-based engagements.

Provide project-based treasury advisory to alternative investment clients: design treasury operations, reconciliations, NAV oversight, collateral and counterparty management, develop policies and reporting, train teams, and support treasury-related special projects.

Provide senior tax leadership for alternative asset firms and family offices: develop and implement tax compliance and reporting policies, manage outsourced tax filings and vendors, oversee payroll tax processes, lead audits, advise on tax planning and laws, and support budgeting and reporting with KPI-driven action plans.
