Provides technical, policy, governance, financing, and implementation guidance; manages complex collaborations, projects, grants, and teams; negotiates solutions; supports fisheries data integration; and represents the organization in national and international forums.

Provides advanced legal and administrative support for complex transactions and projects, including conservation real estate acquisitions, grant agreements, contracts, and nature-based climate initiatives. Drafts and revises legal documents, conducts due diligence and research, coordinates legal services, assesses liability and risk, and supports preserve operations. Requires strong analytical, communication, organizational, writing, and prioritization skills with minimal attorney supervision.

Leads operations, organizational effectiveness, workplace culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence for a 70-plus-person Colorado business unit. Translates strategy into work plans, oversees a $2 million operations budget, supervises a multidisciplinary team, manages cross-functional initiatives, develops strategic plans, improves systems and processes, advises senior leaders, and supports organizational change and employee experience.

Lead finance workstreams for Project Finance for Permanence transactions by developing financial models and strategies, designing sustainable finance mechanisms, supporting due diligence and risk assessments, and preparing finance materials. Manage complex work plans, coordinate cross-functional teams and government stakeholders, oversee consultants, facilitate finance workshops, and support transaction closing. The role requires English and Spanish fluency, project management experience, financial analysis skills, and domestic and international travel.
