The Director of Startup Success will create an exceptional founder experience at the Beck Venture Center, overseeing the development of startup programs, mentorship, and partnerships to enhance innovation and entrepreneur success.

Coordinate and execute website content operations and project workflows for the university. Perform CMS content updates and migrations, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, project tracking, and governance. Support communications and marketing activities, vendor and budget tracking, meeting facilitation, and process improvements to ensure accurate, accessible, and brand-aligned web content.

Designs, builds, and supports secure data integrations, migrations, and ETL/ELT pipelines across ERP, student information systems, and the data warehouse. Works with stakeholders to gather requirements, automate data workflows, ensure data integrity, monitor integrations, document processes, and partner with security/privacy teams to maintain compliant data access. Supports system implementations and institutional reporting.

Provide on-site IT consultation and technical support for faculty, staff, students, and campus events. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, OSs, peripherals, network devices, telephones, and AV systems; support Windows, macOS, Linux, web conferencing, streaming, and event capture. Triage tickets, escalate complex issues, maintain documentation, mentor student staff, and collaborate with engineers and SMEs to implement long-term solutions.

Manage and review sponsored research proposal submissions, supervise a team of Proposal Analysts, ensure compliance with sponsor, School, and state regulations, develop budgets, maintain proposal data repository, provide training and outreach to faculty, and serve as final approver for proposal accuracy and submission.

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise identity services (SSO, MFA, directory integrations) using Okta and related IAM technologies; automate identity lifecycle and workflows; troubleshoot and optimize IAM systems; develop role-based access and governance; create documentation and provide training; collaborate with campus stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant identity services.

Manage post-award sponsored research finances including award setup, budget and expense monitoring, reconciliations, reporting, and closeout. Advise faculty on regulations, develop reports and templates using Banner/Cognos, train staff, and resolve account discrepancies.

The Associate Director of Research Administration ensures financial management of research projects, oversees staff, develops policies, and maintains compliance with regulations, fostering a high-quality service environment.
