Responsibilities include designing responsive interfaces, building front-end and back-end systems, developing APIs and ETL pipelines, managing databases and Docker deployments, integrating AI/ML features, and implementing automated testing. The role also leads developers, manages projects, engages clients, translates requirements using Agile/Scrum, and supports scientific data visualization and product demonstrations.

Coordinates ocean-related science and technology projects, grants, funding announcements, mission planning, budgets, agreements, task orders, and partnership reporting. Works with NOAA laboratories, universities, cooperative institutes, and marine environmental organizations to plan projects, define operational requirements, allocate resources, and monitor execution. Supports PMEL partnership activities, including work plans, reporting, and agreement coordination. Position may be remote or on-site and requires travel for meetings, workshops, and field activities.
