The Senior Substation Engineer designs, implements, and tests electrical substations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while collaborating across teams.

Senior hands-on role designing, implementing, and hardening security controls across IT, cloud (Azure/M365), and NERC CIP-regulated OT environments. Leads security architecture, OT/ICS engineering, M&A technical due diligence and integration, incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM/onboarding and detection tuning, and mentors SecOps. Ensures compliance with standards (NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST) and integrates security into SDLC.

Provide onsite administrative support for construction projects: maintain office trailer and supplies, manage inventory and site access logs, coordinate deliveries and equipment repairs, track safety paperwork and sign-ins, communicate updates between field and project management, and handle mail and basic office housekeeping.

Lead enterprise risk management, insurance and surety programs, claims oversight, alternative risk financing (including captives), and cross-functional loss-reduction initiatives. Advise executive leadership, manage renewals and brokers, analyze claims and KRIs, negotiate contract risk provisions, and partner with Safety, Fleet, Finance, and legal to reduce total cost of risk.

The Director will lead and establish the BESS Operations & Maintenance service line, overseeing strategic planning, operational execution, team development, and compliance management while integrating with existing O&M processes.
