Leads Compassion International’s Principal and Major Gifts program, overseeing managers and relationship managers responsible for donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, portfolio health, revenue forecasting, and philanthropic growth. Develops complex gift strategies, donor engagement plans, funding opportunities, and high-impact experiences. Provides coaching, succession planning, and organizational leadership while partnering cross-functionally, managing budgets, representing the organization to major supporters, and advancing annual and long-term fundraising goals. Requires Christian faith alignment, extensive fundraising expertise, executive communication, analytics proficiency, and up to 50% travel.

Manages a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects to achieve fundraising revenue goals. Develops customized cultivation and stewardship campaigns, builds constituent relationships through calls, visits, presentations, and correspondence, and creates engagement strategies, forecasts, timelines, and reports. Represents the organization at tours, events, and speaking engagements, educates donors about its mission, and may coach other relationship managers. The role requires strong communication, organization, fundraising or relationship-management experience, and alignment with the organization’s Christian mission.

Lead implementation, optimization, and adoption of C&I fundraising processes, systems, and workflows. Manage intake and request systems, map end-to-end workflows, identify and drive process improvements, support change management and rollouts, coordinate internal projects, and create SOPs, playbooks, and training documentation. Act as C&I business representative across cross-functional initiatives to ensure scalable, user-focused solutions and continuous improvement.

Provide technical advising and implementation support for global disaster preparedness program design, standards, metrics, and training. Coach national and regional staff, analyze program processes, develop reports and indicators, and support data-driven measurement and improvement. Ensure child protection and faith-based commitments are upheld.

Manage complex grant compliance and contract activities for USG and multilateral-funded projects, including review/negotiation of awards and subawards, subrecipient vetting and monitoring, procurement oversight, donor regulation guidance, capacity building, and cross-functional coordination with Legal, Finance, and Program teams.
