The Mechanical Design Engineer III will lead the design and development of cryogenic pumps for lunar applications, collaborating with experts and managing pump life cycles.

Manage program planning and controls for MK1 Lunar Lander IPTs: establish and maintain Integrated Master Schedules, collect status updates, track schedule and cost performance (EVM), deliver metrics and insights, and engage teams to resolve schedule drivers to accelerate lunar mission delivery.

Build workflows interacting with large-scale CAD databases for mass property estimation and other analysis automation using Databricks, AWS, CI/CD, and related frameworks.

Develop and manage Command & Telemetry and Parameter databases, onboard storage and file management, data uplink/downlink, sequencing, and prioritization. The Principal Fluids Engineer will design and analyze fluid systems for the New Glenn launch vehicle, develop computational fluid dynamics models, and oversee junior engineers' work.

Define and lead embedded avionics software requirements, verification, and integration for lunar lander systems. Lead cross-functional teams, manage hardware-software integration, and ensure safety-critical software behavior and verification for repeatable, safe missions.

This role involves analyzing spacecraft structures, integrating structural analysis, and leading efforts in spacecraft structural validation and testing for lunar transportation systems.

Develop and communicate structural loads and environments for spacecraft and payloads. Create and correlate finite element and Craig-Bampton models, perform vibroacoustic and dynamic analyses, support test measurement and interpretation, maintain loads data books, and collaborate across disciplines to verify designs and perform trade studies.

Define and manage mission-specific system baselines, configurations, and capability roadmap for the Blue Ring spacecraft product line. Lead requirements, architecture, change management, trade studies, MBSE implementation, tool usage (Jama, Windchill, Cameo), and present technical status at gated reviews to align capabilities with customer missions.

This role involves managing software architecture for lunar vehicles, ensuring mission success of safety-critical flight software, and collaborating with various stakeholders and teams.
