Lead technical project management for RF component development supporting Blue Origin lunar vehicles. Manage technical, cost, schedule, risk, procurement, supplier coordination, product roadmaps, program reviews, and operating metrics. Partner with engineering teams, leadership, NASA, external customers, vendors, and suppliers to deliver qualified flight hardware. Manages personnel, budgets, schedules, technical quality, subsystem design, risk mitigation, hardware and flight software delivery, testing, certification, and cross-subsystem integration. Provides advanced GN&C expertise for spacecraft missions, including rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking, while mentoring engineers and communicating technical plans and risks to leadership.

Supports the design, analysis, integration, qualification, and production transition of precision gimbal assemblies and pointing mechanisms for space-based optical communications terminals. Performs trade studies, structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses, tolerance analysis, FMEA, and reliability assessments. Contributes to component and system testing in shock, vibration, and thermal-vacuum environments, prepares design and test documentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams under senior-engineer mentorship.

Leads technical design, development, integration, verification, validation, and delivery of RF communications hardware and software for lunar missions. Manages technical baselines, schedules, budgets, suppliers, risks, anomaly investigations, and subsystem testing. Recruits and mentors multidisciplinary engineering teams while serving as a communications technical authority and primary liaison to vehicle teams, leadership, external partners, NASA, and government stakeholders.

Lead integrated master and IPT-level schedule development and execution for Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence programs. Coordinate dependencies across teams, partners, and business units; collect updates; forecast performance; analyze variances; produce KPIs and schedule reports; manage approved scope changes; mitigate execution roadblocks; and improve scheduling processes and tools. Mentor planners and influence technical teams while supporting complex human spaceflight development.

Designs, develops, and integrates electrical ground support equipment hardware and software for satellite assembly, integration, and test. The role defines EGSE architectures and interfaces, develops automated test sequences, conducts RF and phased-array antenna testing, maintains configuration and calibration controls, authors test documentation, resolves anomalies, and scales production test infrastructure. The engineer works hands-on on the production floor and collaborates across systems, avionics, RF, payload, and flight software teams.

Develop and manage vehicle-level and system-of-systems requirements for Blue Origin’s lunar landers. Define interfaces, dependencies, verification plans, and closure products; coordinate with NASA, national team partners, and subsystem teams. Track requirements and verification metrics, support change control and audits, and provide technical leadership to ensure safe, effective human-spaceflight system development.

Design and develop multi-layer insulation blankets and thermal control systems for New Glenn Upper Stage structures, tanks, and fluid systems. Translate thermal requirements into manufacturable designs, define materials and attachment methods, create drawings and installation procedures, and support fabrication, inspection, calorimeter, installation verification, and thermal vacuum testing. Collaborate with thermal analysts, structural and mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and technicians to validate performance across launch and on-orbit environments.
