The role focuses on cryogenic, gaseous, two-phase, propulsion, and spacecraft fluid systems.

Owns mass-properties engineering for a lunar transfer stage, maintaining BOM-based mass, center-of-gravity, and inertia models throughout design, manufacturing, integration, and testing. Tracks mass budgets and margins, supports weighing and CG operations, analyzes propellant burn states, investigates discrepancies, and leads mass trade studies. Collaborates with subsystem and manufacturing teams to drive minimum-mass solutions, manages configuration-controlled documentation, defines uncertainty methodology, and presents findings at design reviews.

Leads electronics manufacturing engineering across product development, including process development, work instructions, NPI, production transitions, DFM/DFT reviews, PCB fabrication and assembly support, defect resolution, vendor qualification, and component sourcing. Partners with COMSEC, electrical hardware, supply chain, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure manufacturability, quality, reliability, standards compliance, and security requirements.

Design, develop, verify, and troubleshoot secure communications hardware for space systems. Responsibilities include PCB and high-speed digital design, radiation analysis and component selection, hardware fabrication and testing, FPGA and software team integration, verification planning, vehicle-level testing, standards compliance, design reviews, and technical mentorship.
