Designs and analyzes cryogenic fluid and propulsion systems for Blue Moon lunar landers. Support New Glenn flight safety regulatory compliance and approvals with the FAA and U.S. Space Force Range Safety. Conduct trajectory analysis, debris risk assessment, probability-of-failure modeling, and population risk evaluations. Develop technical reports, manage safety products, coordinate with government partners, and balance mission design parameters against safety criteria.

Develops and manages requirements for safety-critical and non-safety-critical spacecraft software supporting human-rated lunar landers. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, compliance processes, technical documentation, design reviews, and supporting program risk, scheduling, and resource planning. Requires systems engineering experience with avionics or software systems, spacecraft interfaces, and requirements verification. Preferred experience includes C/C++, NASA software standards, Agile development, CI, embedded Linux, autonomy, fault management, hardware-in-the-loop labs, and spaceflight systems.

Defines autonomy behaviors and software requirements for lunar spacecraft systems, leads software systems engineering practices, establishes verification plans and test cases, manages hardware-software integration, and ensures safety-critical software behavior supports safe missions. Collaborates with systems engineers, developers, program managers, and vehicle and mission design teams across spacecraft development and operations.

Leads software verification and test planning for lunar spacecraft systems. Develops requirements, verification plans, test cases, procedures, and scripts; guides verification best practices; manages hardware-software integration issues; collaborates across systems, software, vehicle, and mission teams; and ensures safety-critical software behavior supports safe human spaceflight.
