Develops and implements internal and external communications supporting Vitalant’s mission and brand. Responsibilities include analyzing communication needs, creating and editing content, managing campaigns and projects, coordinating schedules and content calendars, advising stakeholders on messaging and channels, evaluating campaign metrics, and protecting organizational reputation. The role requires strong writing, editing, audience analysis, project coordination, collaboration, and independent judgment when handling sensitive information.

Supports blood drive collection goals through donor recruitment, coordinator engagement, account maintenance, and participation growth. Coordinates virtual and onsite blood drives, focuses on acquiring and retaining first-time donors, maintains accurate records, assists with training and special projects, provides customer service, and ensures compliance with procedures and regulations. The role collaborates with field teams and cross-functional partners and may provide territory coverage when needed.
