Leads a cloud engineering team responsible for Redpanda Cloud, BYOC, Serverless, and Agentic Data Plane initiatives. Owns roadmap delivery, operational excellence, incident response, SLOs, and day-two operations while partnering with Product and customer-facing teams. Coaches, develops, hires, and retains engineers; translates product priorities into engineering plans; manages risks and dependencies; and drives reliable, high-quality launches across distributed cloud services.

The Solutions Engineer partners with sales to qualify and close opportunities, deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, lead proof-of-concepts, prototype integrations, and address customer objections. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve adoption. Candidates should understand streaming infrastructure, Kafka, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, and be willing to travel for customer meetings and events.

Own Redpanda’s growth and performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, content syndication, and digital channels. Lead experimentation, global media budgets, multi-persona campaigns, conversion optimization, database growth, brand awareness measurement, attribution, and pipeline generation. Manage agencies and vendors, build AI-enabled automation workflows, analyze funnel performance, and partner with sales, marketing operations, and product teams to convert awareness into revenue.

Help customers adopt Redpanda by conducting workshops, architecting and implementing production-ready data streaming systems, building integrations and reusable automation, resolving technical barriers, optimizing performance, and supporting onboarding and expansion. The role partners with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Support teams while sharing technical content and best practices. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Design, build, and operate Redpanda Cloud services across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Own features end to end, lead technical architecture, and develop automated provisioning, deployment, upgrades, and self-healing systems. Maintain reliability, scalability, security, resilience, and observability for a 99.99% SLA. Participate in on-call operations and collaborate with Cloud, Core, AI, Platform, product, and customer-facing teams.
