Design, build, test, document, and operate core backend features for highly scalable, multi-tenant distributed services. Lead the NAMER Enterprise Developer Advocacy team, coaching senior advocates while personally designing and delivering technical programs. Own DevDays, Enterprise Office Hours, account engagements, curriculum, content, prioritization, and follow-up. Partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, Developer Success, Product, Education, and Marketing to connect technical advocacy with customer adoption, pipeline, and expansion. Build reusable educational materials, identify customer champions, and provide regional feedback to global developer relations strategy.

Serve as Temporal’s customer-facing technical leader for the Western Growth team. Advise prospects on application fit, demonstrate platform benefits and limitations, position Temporal against competing technologies, and drive production adoption. Build prototypes, provide architecture and deployment guidance, support account planning and opportunity sizing, and manage relationships with technical decision-makers. Apply expertise in distributed systems, cloud services, and production concerns including security, reliability, performance, cost, and operations.

Build and operate managed compute primitives for Temporal Cloud, including autoscaling systems, cloud integrations, control-plane and data-plane services, and multi-tenant execution infrastructure. Own architecture, APIs, reliability, observability, rollout strategies, incident response, and long-term maintenance. Lead technical design, cross-team platform initiatives, code reviews, and mentorship while ensuring secure, performant, and fault-tolerant customer-facing services.

Design, build, and operate highly scalable distributed storage systems for Temporal Cloud. Responsibilities include developing persistence APIs, replication paths, caches, tiered storage, and observability; improving reliability and performance through SLO ownership, chaos testing, profiling, and incident reviews; and providing technical leadership through roadmap planning, RFCs, mentoring, and cross-team delivery.

Lead product marketing for Temporal’s AI initiatives, owning positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, launches, GTM strategy, content, sales enablement, and market insights. Translate complex AI infrastructure, workflow orchestration, agent, LLM, and human-in-the-loop capabilities into compelling value for technical and business audiences. Partner with product, engineering, sales, demand generation, developer relations, and communications to drive adoption and shape product direction.

Leads and scales Temporal’s global technical support organization for complex developer and infrastructure issues. Establishes support operations, SLAs, triage, escalation, incident response, RCA, quality, staffing, and performance systems. Develops technical talent, reduces avoidable Engineering escalations, improves customer communications, and partners cross-functionally to convert support insights into product and documentation improvements. Represents Temporal in strategic escalations, critical incidents, enterprise support discussions, and executive readouts.

Serve as the frontline technical expert for Temporal’s developer community. Help customers deploy, scale, troubleshoot, and optimize Temporal in cloud-native environments. Responsibilities include resolving distributed-systems and infrastructure issues, developing observability and automation solutions, improving networking and reliability, and creating infrastructure best practices and diagnostic tools. The role requires direct engagement with developers, engineering teams, and product teams while influencing platform improvements and enhancing developer experience.

Own the strategy and roadmap for Temporal’s developer lifecycle and tooling, including onboarding, local development, testing, replay, code evolution, deploy safety, and CLI workflows. Partner with engineering, SDK, Developer Relations, Marketing, and field teams to deliver coherent cross-SDK experiences, define success metrics, shape product positioning, and provide documentation, templates, migration guidance, and adoption support.
