Leads Riot’s technical training program for data center operations and maintenance. Designs curricula, certification processes, assessments, job aids, and emergency drills covering critical power, cooling, safety, and equipment procedures. Delivers classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction; evaluates employee competency; maintains training records; audits program quality; coaches trainers and learners; identifies performance gaps; and improves training based on data and operational outcomes. The role partners across operations and facilities teams and requires regular travel to multiple sites.

Provides business-oriented legal support for mergers and acquisitions, data center leasing, real estate transactions, and strategic corporate initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting legal due diligence, coordinating with counsel and stakeholders, supporting deal structuring through closing and integration, and improving legal transaction processes.

Provides employment-law support across people operations, workplace policies, employment agreements, employee relations, investigations, disputes, and legal processes. Advises internal stakeholders, drafts and negotiates employment documentation, coordinates with outside counsel, supports policy development and enforcement, and contributes to workplace culture initiatives. Requires a JD, active U.S. state bar membership, and at least three years of relevant employment law experience.

Provides advanced IT incident resolution, break/fix support, device provisioning, endpoint and Microsoft 365 administration, access support, and lifecycle management. Supports deployments, upgrades, migrations, office moves, refreshes, and operational improvements across multiple facilities. Maintains documentation, inventory, site readiness, and support procedures while assisting executive and VIP users. Mentors Level 1 technicians and requires some travel from the Denver office.

Leads global category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier development, commercial negotiations, and supply-chain resiliency for hyperscale data-center cooling infrastructure. Manages substantial spend across chillers, CRAHs, AHUs, containment, liquid cooling, and related systems. Partners with engineering, operations, and construction teams; develops supplier capacity; mitigates supply risks; monitors commodity markets and refrigerant regulations; and presents recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Lead and scale the investor relations function: craft investor messaging and materials, manage engagement strategy (earnings, roadshows, conferences), advise executives, run IR systems and CRM, monitor market and analyst sentiment, and build relationships with sell-side analysts and investors to align external communications with strategy.

Provides in-house legal support for corporate finance transactions, strategic initiatives, securities, governance, and complex commercial matters. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing financing documents, coordinating with outside counsel and stakeholders, managing transaction closings and post-closing activities, supporting business development, and improving legal processes. Requires a JD, active U.S. state bar membership, and at least three years of relevant corporate or transactional legal experience.

Own and engineer Riot's identity environment: administer Entra ID/AD and Microsoft 365, manage conditional access, PIM, MFA, endpoints (Intune/Jamf), automate configuration as code (Terraform/AWS CDK/SaltStack), build CI/CD pipelines, script tooling (PowerShell, Python, C#), and implement monitoring and audit logging (Prometheus, Grafana). Collaborate with engineering, IT, and security to advance a DevOps operating model.

Support general ledger accounting, perform month- and year-end close, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, assist with debt and lease accounting (ASC 842), intercompany eliminations, financial statement preparation, SOX controls, audits, and process documentation. Review staff work and provide variance analysis and contract interpretation.

Lead Riot's multi-discipline data center engineering organization (mechanical, electrical, controls), set technical standards and QA/QC, approve designs at key milestones, oversee consultants and vendors, develop engineering talent, and represent engineering in cross-functional and executive decision-making.
