Supports general litigation and legal risk management across the business. Responsibilities include assessing lawsuits, demand letters, complaints, and legal threats; drafting and reviewing court filings; coordinating with outside and opposing counsel; representing the company in small claims court; supporting regulatory investigations; and providing practical legal guidance to internal teams.

Manage intellectual property litigation, disputes, discovery, outside counsel, and court filings. Advise teams on patents, trademarks, copyrights, publicity rights, and legal risk. Support patent harvesting and prosecution, trademark protection, regulatory inquiries, customer complaints, commercial litigation, and artificial intelligence governance. Translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance while managing multiple priorities.

Conduct trade practice surveillance, support customer onboarding, prepare CFTC regulatory filings, maintain exchange policies, investigate potential violations, monitor market participation and underlying industry news, and provide rotational coverage during live market hours.

Provide strategic legal support for DKeX and related exchange/clearing initiatives. Advise on Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations; draft and maintain exchange rules, policies, and governance; support regulatory filings and rule submissions; partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and other teams; monitor regulatory developments; manage outside counsel; and develop scalable legal guidance and processes to enable compliant product development and operation of a regulated prediction markets marketplace.
