Truewerk began with the belief that we could make today’s workers safer and look sharper by creating workwear using modern materials, greater attention to detail, and a stronger connection to the job site. We started with systems currently used by elite military personnel and professional mountain guides, then optimized them for use in modern trades—from surveyors and rope access technicians to solar panel installers, roofers, and heavy equipment operators. Truewerk was founded on a simple but strong conviction that business should be a platform for advancing humanity, not just profiting from it. For this reason, we carry our mission to make today's workers more comfortable and more productive even beyond the clothing they wear. We seek to support, educate and inspire our customers to be stronger and smarter than today's job. And to celebrate the connection between themselves and the tools and technology that surround and enable their work.

In 2005, we launched Brilliant Earth to raise the standards in the jewelry industry while creating beautiful fine jewelry that is different in every way – how it’s made, how it’s sold, how it’s sourced and crafted, and how it gives back. As a result, we go beyond current industry practices for sourcing, use recycled precious metals to minimize our environmental footprint, and support environmental and social causes through our giving back initiatives. Or Mission is to cultivate a more transparent, sustainable, compassionate, and inclusive jewelry industry. Our Mission and ESG Goals are underpinned by our foundational pillars: We believe that demonstrating transparency, through ethical business practices and governance, and enforcing rigorous protocols for sourcing environmentally and socially responsible materials are key to driving change in our industry. Our products are designed to be loved for generations, and we seek to reduce our environmental footprint by keeping our jewelry circular and embedding environmental sustainability throughout our operations and value chain. We seek ways to create lasting impact, not just in our own value chain and customer communities but also across artisanal small scale mining communities where gemstones and precious metals are sourced. We are committed to creating a representative jewelry industry through our unique products and inclusive experiences for customers, and through a company culture that emphasizes equitable recruiting practices and invests in our diverse employee base.

Currently, the path for aspiring clothing designers involves working for a major label, where their designs are owned by the company they work for and they rarely see any personal recognition or revenue for the garments they design. If they choose instead to build their own brand, they typically have to contend with pattern creation, manufacturer communication issues, high upfront costs, high minimums, and long lead times. Even if they are able to get their garments manufactured, there's no guarantee that they'll be able to sell them to recoup their costs, and frequently they face the issue of certain sizes selling out quickly while others don't sell at all. We're aiming to change that with The Cotery. We offer a platform for designers to create a custom cut-and-sew garment based on a wide library of silhouettes, fabrics, colors, trims, embellishments, and artwork placement options. Designers publish their designs for pre-sale, and if they can get a minimum number of purchase pledges within a 30 day period, we handle all the manufacturing and fulfillment for the garment. Because of our manufacturing partners, we're able to dramatically reduce the lead time for production, and because the design has been crowd-funded, there are no upfront costs to the designers. We enable designers to focus on creating quality designs and build their personal brand, without worrying about the headaches involved in going down the traditional manufacturing route.

Founded in 1968, GoldBug is one of the largest branded suppliers of infant and children’s products in the U.S. Our products focus on quality, safety, and style to make life a little easier and a lot more fun for families. Even as an established company, innovation is at our core. We launched our debut bootie in 1968 and patented the first infant head support in 1979, which led us to today’s extensive line of baby shoes, socks, accessories, and travel staples. Retail partnerships with Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and Amazon make it easy for parents to find GoldBug products in stores and online. Much of our momentum is due to work behind the scenes through licensing and private-label partnerships, which started with Carter’s 30 years ago. As a trusted brand partner, we also create products for Fruit of the Loom, OshKosh B'gosh, Cat & Jack, Cloud Island, Wonder Nation, Jumping Beans, and formerly Eddie Bauer and Disney. GoldBug is a privately held, woman-owned company based in Denver, Colorado. Our hybrid office environment is collaborative while providing team members with ownership and autonomy, making for fun and fulfilling work. Our supportive workplace environment puts GoldBug’s families first—from providing doula stipends to offering Summer Fridays—to maximize quality time with loved ones.
