Spruce to Celebrate a Successful First Year of Making Denver Men Dapper
DENVER, 16 May 2016– Throughout the past year, Spruce, a local clothier + barber shop dedicated to men, has been rapidly changing the landscape of men’s fashion. On Friday, June 3rd, Spruce will be celebrating their first anniversary--and just as they specialize in men’s style, they will also be celebrating in style.
The festivities will include food provided by Mile High Mama Catering & Personal Chef Services, beer and wine, and DJ music by The Executive Producer. Since the anniversary will coincide with the Tennyson First Friday event in June, artwork done by local artists will be available inside the store for purchase. Outside--weather permitting--will host lawn games like washers for continued entertainment.
A major mission embraced by the Spruce team is personal empowerment and growth. The work they do centers around this idea, helping men define and refine their personal style in both their wardrobe and hair. In keeping with the spirit of this idea, the owners, stylists, and barbers will be making toasts to their own first year of empowerment and growth as a team: what they have learned in the past year and what they hope to achieve in the upcoming year.
They are also hoping to premiere another surprise: their second commercial. Says co-owner Taylor Romero, “The last commercial that we did for Spruce was right when we opened, so we thought it was fitting to have our next one in development for our first anniversary. The team is hard at work producing it now--we hope to be able to unveil it for the first time at the anniversary party!"
