DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today online social engagement company Wayin announced that it will be partnering with Japan Third Party Company, Ltd. to promote the company’s launch in Tokyo, Japan.

The launch will mark the introduction of the Wayin social hub platform to the Japanese market. Wayin began focusing on the Wayin Hub following its certification as a Twitter Certified Product. The product pulls data and content from Twitter—including usernames, hashtags, keywords and media—to capture brand-relevant, real time conversations and streamline this dialogue into one highly customizable, visual format that will drive audience engagement and participation.

Unveiled in 2013 at SXSWi, the hub has since been adopted by some of the nation’s largest corporations, sports teams and agencies. It has been implemented to monitor one-day events, foster community engagement during week-long campaigns, and provide evergreen solutions for companies.

Wayin’s introduction to the Japanese market comes on the heels of huge international growth for Twitter. As of March 2013, 21% of the global internet population uses Twitter actively on a monthly basis and 60% of users live outside of the United States. 36% of active users are located in Japan, with the country sending around 25 million unique visitors to Twitter every month. Tokyo in particular is the second most active city on Twitter in the world.

“The launch of Wayin Japan is a pivotal milestone as we expand into the booming global social media market. More than a quarter of active Twitter users are in Japan, making it even more important for Japanese brands to engage with their followers. We’re looking forward to growing engagement with Twitter and the Japanese social media community.” - Scott McNealy, Co-Founder of Wayin

As demonstrated by the recent creation of a direct Dreamliner flight from Denver to Tokyo, Wayin’s partnership with Japan Third Party Company, Ltd. also comes at a time when overseas business efforts are becoming increasingly important and business relationships between Denver and Tokyo easier to maintain. This, coupled with Twitter’s dramatic increase in popularity in Japan, makes it a uniquely important time for the Wayin Social Hub to hit the Japanese market.
