The Longmont-based backup software firm Rebit has introduced Rebit Unlimited, combining its acclaimed local backup solution with unlimited cloud storage. Individuals and businesses who have relied on the swiftness and security of Rebit's local backups and innovative hybrid architecture will now have as much room as they need in the cloud and can access their data from anywhere.

Rebit recently launched Rebit6, a new iteration of its software with an improved user interface and Windows 8 compatibility. It has also made efforts to beef up its business partnerships. Rebit Unlimited is the company's latest initiative to stay competitive in what is becoming a more and more active market.

Information security is increasingly in the news and on customers' minds. Whether it's protection from hacks that wipe out sensitive information, insurance against a natural disaster that cripples physical servers, or simply a desire to collaborate with people in other parts of the world, the demand for safe, low-effort cloud solutions is continuously rising.

[ibimage==30183==Medium==none==self==ibimage_align-left]"Rebit has built a reputation for delivering ridiculously simple yet powerful backup solutions for home and small business users," said Paul Guerin, Rebit's CEO. "Rebit Unlimited extends this commitment to our customers by combining all of the advanced functionality of Rebit6 with unlimited cloud storage at a great price! Rebit Unlimited is simply the most comprehensive, cost-effective, and simple-to-use backup solution available in the market today."

Rebit currently offers a 30-day free trial for its Rebit Unlimited services. Costs may vary after that. Rebit services remain exclusive to Windows platforms.
