Maxwell acquired LenderSelect. Denver-based fintech company Maxwell is growing its secondary market trading platform with its acquisition of LenderSelect Mortgage Group. The company acquired LenderSelect from the latter’s previous owner, Blue Ridge Bank, for an undisclosed amount. Virginia-based LenderSelect will bring hundreds of new clients to the Maxwell’s solutions and add 24 employees to its 160-person team. [HousingWire]

EdgeCore hired a new CLO. Taking on the role of chief legal officer at digital infrastructure company EdgeCore is John Bean, formerly VP and associate general counsel at Digital Realty. Transformative Biotech acquired assets from Summit Biolabs. Transformative Biotech works to develop direct-to-polymerase chain reaction testing solutions.
