About the role

The TMS Maintenance Specialist is responsible for managing transportation management system (TMS) configurations, ensuring system stability, and supporting operational workflows. This role requires strong analytical capability, deep understanding of TMS logic, and the ability to work cross-functionally with product, IT, and operations teams to continuously optimize system performance.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and update TMS configurations, routing logic, and rate tables.
  • Ensure system stability through validation, troubleshooting, and release testing.
  • Manage TMS master data, including carriers, rates, and service settings.
  • Prevent system execution issues by validating changes and monitoring workflows.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Product, IT, Operations) to optimize processes.
  • Lead UAT, track bugs, and support system enhancement rollouts.
  • Provide guidance on TMS standards and proper system usage.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience with TMS systems, routing logic, or transportation configuration.
  • Strong understanding of TMS functions, workflow mapping, and master data.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and system validation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain high accuracy in configuration work.
