Job Responsibilities:
  • The Manufacturing Engineer will enhance and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • This role involves defining and implementing change processes, managing fixtures, utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and programming and maintaining tools.
  • The Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure seamless implementation of process changes, and support future projects by setting up lines, ensuring station readiness, and installing equipment.
  • Additionally, the engineer will provide critical support during production startups and ongoing production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Complete ownership and clear communication are key to succeeding in this role.
  • The goal is to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting production targets and maintaining high standards of quality.

Preferred Qualifications and skills:
  • Experience working in a production environment

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues using 5 Why methodology, research root causes, and develop effective, creative solutions with sound decision-making.

  • Ability to interpret and apply a range of instruction formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) and address problems lacking standard solutions.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, including extended hours when needed.

  • Proactive mindset with ability to recommend process, policy, and system improvements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Understanding of MES system and integration

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial
engineering with 3-5 years of Automotive industry related experience
