The Corporate Finance team works closely with the CFO and the Executive staff of the Company in measuring and monitoring business performance, forecasting and planning, providing in-depth value-added analysis, and communicating financial information to key stakeholders internally and externally.


Vail Resorts is currently seeking an Investor Relations (IR) Manager. This position is part of the Corporate Finance team and reports to the VP of Finance. The IR Manager will be a key member of the Vail Resorts finance team and, along with the VP of Finance and CFO, will be primarily responsible for all investor relations activities.

  • Assisting in the management of all internal and external investor relations activities
  • Developing presentations and investor messages that effectively communicate Vail's value proposition, strategies, financial results and current & future performance drivers (financial, operational and regulatory) to the financial community, including earnings releases and investor calls
  • Developing marketing materials for institutional investor conferences, annual meetings and IR website content
  • Aiding in the creation of strategies to improve the company's valuation including thorough comparisons of valuation models between the Company and its comp set
  • Supporting communications with investors and members of the financial community on an on-going basis regarding current issues and events that impact Vail Resorts as well as the broader industry
  • Working closely with the VP of Finance and CFO on development and full understanding of the story for the Company
  • Staying abreast of  industry, competitor, and IR trends
  • Tracking activity in the Company's stock including relative to Vail's comp set
  • Ensuring SEC compliance with all regulations applicable to communications with investors and analysts
  • Actively responding to all inquiries from the investment community and internal requests for IR information, analysis and support
  • Partnering with Public Relations team on company press releases to evaluate messaging that could impact investor perception
  • Aiding in the planning and coordination of annual investor meeting
  • Coordinate investor conferences and road show meetings

Requirements:

  • Outstanding academic credentials with an MBA or other relevant graduate degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years professional experience with at least 3 years hands-on experience with investor relations, investment banking, investment research, or investment management required
  • Experience with SEC regulated public companies and proficiency in regulation FD communications
  • Demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis required
  • Highly proficient in Bloomberg required
  • Demonstrate highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Sound decision making and results oriented
  • Ability to multi-task/manage numerous priorities simultaneously
  • Highly collaborative team approach
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment
