Job Posting:

The role will be responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating a compelling and credible investment thesis for Kontoor Brands, Inc., while also regularly sharing the company’s business strategy and financial performance with the investment community via multiple forms of communication, in a way that is always consistent with the disclosure rules and guidelines of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the NYSE.  This position will serve as a key thought partner and help to influence overall value-creation opportunities across Kontoor Brands, lending a unique financial and strategic lens to the longer-term roadmap.

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance will be an integral member of the IR-team and is expected to be a professional liaison to its stakeholders, including but not limited to shareholders, prospective shareholders, and sell- and buy-side analysts.

Location: Denver; hybrid work schedule (in-office T, W, H)

Compensation Range: $126,000-$180,000 base salary (annual USD) plus annual bonus target (range subject to Denver market).

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance investor relations (IR) strategy: Partner with Kontoor Brands, Inc. Vice President of Corporate Investor Relations and its executive leadership to develop investor relations and related communication strategies in pursuit of delivering top-quartile Total Shareholder Return (TSR), a key metric of the company’s success.
  • Financial reporting & disclosure: Drive all aspects of the quarterly earnings process (earnings release, script, Q&A development, investor presentation), create relevant board of director materials, and maintain the investor relations website.
  • Investor targeting & engagement: Build and enhance relationships as a key point of contact for institutional investors, analysts and other stakeholders; maintain CRM database and drive targeting activities
  • Capital markets strategy: Organize investor days, non-deal roadshows (NDRs) and investor conferences
  • Competitive intelligence: Develop and implement a competitive intelligence framework to enhance real-time insights into commercial & finance teams; monitor notable developments in the consumer sector; work collaboratively with consumer insights team.
  • Strategic Finance: Drive an action-oriented mindset that is deeply integrated across our commercial & finance functions. Leverage data & analytics to turn insights into better decision making. Support the development of the longer-term financial planning and quarterly business review process.
  • Regulatory compliance: Ensure all communications adhere to financial regulations and disclosure laws (e.g. Regulation FD)

Requirements:

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in Investor Relations or Strategic & Brand Finance; formative background in Equity Research or Investment Banking preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, communications, or related field; Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of Workiva preferred; Bloomberg or FactSet skills are a plus
  • Deep sense of curiosity and ability to connect the dots across financials, business insights, external market conditions while long-term value
  • Self‑starter with a bias for action—takes ownership, moves work forward, and navigates ambiguity with confidence
  • Strong storyteller and communicator who will serve as a key face for Kontoor Brands, Inc. to the investing public
  • Relationship builder and collaborator who fosters relationships with investors, drives leadership team,
  • Travel requirement – 1-3x per quarter, including international travel
