We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to enter, update, maintain, and organize information in company databases, spreadsheets, and other computer systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information accurately and efficiently.

The Data Entry Clerk will work with various departments to ensure records are complete, accurate, up to date, and properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
  • Review source documents and verify information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Update existing records and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve electronic and physical records.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and identify missing or incorrect information.
  • Compare entered information with original documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Process invoices, forms, reports, applications, customer information, and other business documents as assigned.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with scanning, uploading, indexing, and digitizing documents.
  • Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets when requested.
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve missing or inaccurate information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and customer information.
  • Follow established data-entry procedures, policies, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, or office experience preferred.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read, understand, and enter information from various documents.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
