We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for customers. The Customer Service Representative will assist customers with questions, orders, account information, product or service concerns, billing inquiries, and general support while providing a positive and professional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can remain calm under pressure, resolve problems efficiently, accurately document customer interactions, and build strong relationships with customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, patience, computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, or in person in a professional and timely manner.
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, policies, orders, accounts, and company procedures.
Listen carefully to customers, identify their needs, and determine the appropriate solution.
Resolve customer complaints, concerns, and service issues while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, payments, refunds, cancellations, and account updates as applicable.
Track orders and provide customers with accurate status updates.
Research and troubleshoot customer issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
Follow established customer service policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Protect confidential customer and company information.
Follow up with customers when additional information or assistance is required.
Identify recurring customer issues and communicate trends or concerns to management.
Work with sales, billing, shipping, technical support, operations, and other departments to resolve customer issues.
Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, systems, policies, and promotions.
Meet established performance standards for response time, accuracy, customer satisfaction, productivity, and issue resolution.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer records in CRM or other company systems.
Assist with other administrative and customer-support duties as assigned.
Customer Service Duties

The Customer Service Representative may be responsible for:

Handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
Responding to emails and online inquiries.
Providing technical or product-related assistance within the scope of the position.
Scheduling appointments or services.
Verifying customer account information.
Updating customer profiles and contact information.
Investigating billing or payment discrepancies.
Processing service requests and work orders.
Coordinating deliveries, installations, or service appointments.
Explaining company policies and procedures.
Escalating unresolved or sensitive issues appropriately.
Conducting customer follow-ups and satisfaction checks.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service, call center, retail, administrative, sales-support, or related experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and courteous telephone and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with upset or frustrated customers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to learn and use CRM, customer service, order management, and other computer systems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of customer service experience.
Call center or high-volume customer support experience.
Experience using CRM software.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
Experience processing orders, payments, refunds, or account changes.
Experience handling escalated customer complaints.
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills, depending on business needs.

The role may require working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer requests simultaneously, and occasionally dealing with difficult or dissatisfied customers.
