eSmart Systems helps utility companies know exactly what's happening across their power grid, down to every pole, wire, and substation, before small problems turn into outages, safety hazards, or worse. Our platform, Grid Vision®, takes the images utilities and their partners already capture from drones, helicopters, and ground crews, and uses AI to spot damage, wear, and defects automatically. It keeps a running, searchable record of the condition of every asset a utility owns, so decisions about where to spend maintenance budgets are based on real data instead of guesswork. Work that used to take teams of people months to review by hand now happens in a fraction of the time, and catches more defects along the way. Today, 75+ utilities across three continents trust Grid Vision to help them plan smarter and stay ahead of wildfire and storm risk. We got our start in Oslo, Norway, back in 2013, growing out of AI research aimed at a genuinely unglamorous problem: keeping the power on for millions of people. That mission hasn't changed, even as we've grown into a team spread across Europe and North America, working with some of the largest utilities in the world.
