Maxwell raised $52.5M. The latest funding round, announced on Tuesday, brings the Denver-based mortgage startup’s total fundraising to nearly $80 million. The platform’s technology, built on aggregated loan data and real-time data insights, offloads time-consuming manual tasks, enabling small and midsize lenders to close loans 13 days faster than the 47-day national average and loan officers to outperform the market by more than 20 percent. Inc. Maxwell is the fifteenth fastest-growing software company in the U.S, according to Inc. 5000 data. The company employs 270 people and plans to grow to 400 employees by the end of 2022. Colorado tech quote of the week

“We wanted to eliminate the barriers to the great outdoors, but also cater to people that wanted to be productive and be able to work from anywhere or work from the wild.” — Roameo co-founder Robert Nathan

Roameo partnered with a Chicago unicorn to offer a unique employee perk. Roameo is a Colorado-based startup that converts van into luxury mobile homes, equipped with mobile internet, electricity, showers and heating and air conditioning. The company just landed its first tech company client, Chicago-based logistics unicorn project44, which is offering its rented van to employees who want to work while traveling cross-country. Roameo hopes to partner with more companies interested in offering remote-work getaways as an employee perk. [Built In Colorado]
