Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to lead our commercial efforts in the Early Detection Oncology space. This role will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive adoption of our innovative diagnostic solutions, expanding market share, and delivering revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in oncology diagnostics, a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare ecosystems.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a national sales strategy aligned with company objectives for early cancer detection products.
Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Market Expansion: Identify and prioritize key accounts, strategic partnerships, and new market opportunities within oncology and diagnostic networks.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with oncologists, pathologists, healthcare systems, and payers to drive product adoption.
Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Budget & Resource Allocation: Oversee sales budgets, ensure ROI from resources, and align spending with growth priorities.
Sales Analytics: Leverage CRM and analytics tools to monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and sales cycle efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, medical affairs, and product development teams to ensure alignment and optimize go-to-market strategies.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
10+ years of sales leadership experience in oncology diagnostics, molecular testing, or related healthcare sectors.
Proven success in launching and scaling innovative diagnostic products.
Strong understanding of reimbursement, payer dynamics, and healthcare provider networks.
Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree.

Ability to lift to 25 pounds.

Annual Hiring Range
$250,000 - $300,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
