- Develop category strategies for IT hardware, software and SaaS, telecom, distribution, field-services subcontracting and indirect spend; consolidate supplier contracts into enterprise agreements with improved pricing, terms and rebates.
- Define the procurement charter for internal-use purchasing (CIO) and customer-facing/resale purchasing (CTO), including an escalation path for shared vendors.
- Shape procurement systems requirements as part of the Business Central and ConnectWise consolidation, spend-management platform and contract repository.
- Build the enterprise spend cube, dashboards and KPIs; report performance and compliance to the CFO and executive team, ensuring reported benefits are validated by Finance.
EXPERIENCE:
- 15+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, including at least 7 years leading procurement teams at director level or above.
- Proven record of building or centralizing procurement in a multi-entity organization, ideally one grown through acquisitions.
- Direct experience designing and managing a hybrid model with an outsourced or offshore procurement partner, including SLA definition, transition and ongoing governance.
- Strong technology category experience, including IT hardware, software and SaaS, telecom, and technology distribution (e.g., national/global IT distributors and OEM partner programs).
- Track record of supplier consolidation and negotiating enterprise agreements, pricing, terms and rebate programs.
- Working knowledge of source-to-pay controls, including delegation of authority, vendor-master governance, segregation of duties and fraud prevention.
- Experience implementing or optimizing procurement and ERP systems, spend analytics and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Experience leading across U.S. and international operations, including Latin America.
- Background in an IT solutions provider, systems integrator, value-added reseller or managed services company, with exposure to purchasing for internal use and customer resale.
- PREFERRED: Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment with a defined value-creation timeline.
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, ConnectWise, Power BI / Fabric or comparable platforms.
- PREFERRED: Exposure to third-party risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27036, NIST SP 800-161) and ESG supply-chain reporting.
