This role develops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation in close coordination with engineering, cybersecurity, and operational teams, ensuring every deliverable meets Government standards for formatting, clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Beyond writing and editing, this role coordinates the full lifecycle of each deliverable: pulling technical input from subject matter experts, managing templates and version control, and shepherding documents through review and approval to final delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently to draft complex technical content and equally comfortable managing the moving pieces of a document review cycle across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation in support of the CROWN program, generating content from scratch or compiling it into structured templates as needed.
- Create and/or maintain the following deliverables: Technical Data Package (TDP), System Test Report, Network Administrator's Manual, Site Deployment Readiness Review, Detailed Test Plan, Test and Acceptance Procedures, and Cybersecurity Assessment Test Report.
- Design and maintain document templates that support recurring technical deliverables.
- Ensure all documentation complies with programmatic, security, and configuration management requirements.
- Manage content within content management systems (CMS) ensuring organized storage and easy retrieval of documentation assets.
- Creates clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implementation guides, customer updates, and end-user documentation
- Facilitate and integrate technical input from engineers, analysts, and cybersecurity staff into clear, accurate written deliverables.
- Maintain version control and revision history for all deliverables.
- Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and final delivery, tracking status and following up with stakeholders to keep documents moving on schedule.
- Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and operational teams throughout the documentation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in technical writing and/or documentation coordination, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate technical documentation for a Government or DoD customer, including test plans, technical manuals, and assessment reports.
- Experience managing document version control, templates, and revision history across multiple concurrent deliverables.
- Strong coordination skills, with the ability to pull technical input from engineers and analysts and manage a document through review and approval.
- Excellent written communication skills and close attention to formatting, clarity, and completeness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD, Space Force, NRO, or other federal/IC programs.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity assessment and authorization documentation (e.g., Risk Management Framework artifacts).
- Experience with the CROWN program or similar network/systems delivery initiatives.
- Manage content within content management systems (CMS) ensuring organized storage and easy retrieval of documentation assets.
