The Supervisor, Digital Video role is a mid-level position at Rain, a leading independent full-service advertising agency. The position’s primary focus is developing, launching, managing, optimizing, and reporting on holistic digital video campaigns across programmatic and direct publisher environments, with a specific eye toward CTV and streaming video.
The Supervisor, Digital Video will partner with Integrated Planning, Media Investment, Analytics, Ad Operations, and Client Service teams to translate client objectives into effective digital video strategies and campaign plans. This person will provide hands-on oversight of campaign execution, pacing, QA, measurement, optimization, and insight development, while also helping mentor Specialists and contribute to stronger process, education, and best-practice adoption across the practice.
While this is a remote role, periodic travel and accommodating meetings in different time zones is expected. Preference may be given to candidates in Eastern time zone.
What does a Supervisor, Digital Video do at Rain?
- Contribute to digital video strategy and account stewardship across performance and brand-building campaigns
- Champion all forms of Digital Video, with a focus on CTV, streaming video, programmatic video, and direct publisher opportunities
- Translate client objectives, audience insights, historical performance data, scorecards, and best practices into thoughtful media recommendations
- Partner with Integrated Planning and Investment teams to identify appropriate video investment allocations, buy types, platforms, publishers, and targeting approaches
- Oversee campaign setup, trafficking coordination, pacing, optimization, reporting, and QA across assigned accounts
- Manage day-to-day execution across programmatic platforms and direct publisher buys, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and optimized against client goals
- Monitor performance and pacing through dashboards and reporting tools, identifying critical storylines, risks, opportunities, and next-step recommendations
- Represent digital video in internal and external meetings as a channel subject matter expert
- Support development of campaign insights, client-facing reporting narratives, case studies, and performance recaps
- Help standardize digital video workflows, QA practices, optimization frameworks, and documentation across assigned accounts
- Mentor Specialists and support day-to-day workload management, prioritization, and skill development
- Stay current on digital video, CTV, OTT, publisher, ad tech, measurement, consumption, and competitive trends
- Contribute to agency education, cross-training, new business inputs, and onboarding needs related to digital video
What do we look for in a Supervisor, Digital Video at our agency?
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4-6+ years of hands-on experience, with a focus on digital video planning, activation, and campaign management
- Experience across programmatic platforms (major DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon, Yahoo, Viant, or similar platforms) direct publisher relationships, CTV/OTT environments, trafficking workflows, reporting, and optimization
- Understanding of platform and publisher relationships, data targeting capabilities, buy types, measurement approaches, and activation options within digital video
- Ability to review performance data, identify meaningful storylines, and communicate implications clearly to internal teams and clients
- Strong familiarity with Ad Operations, QA processes, trafficking requirements, verification partners, and reporting tools
- Certifications across Google Campaign Manager, DoubleVerify, major DSPs, or related platforms preferred
- A collaborative spirit and an active interest in mentoring junior team members
- Strong project management skills, budget management discipline, and high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot
- Ability to work across flexible time zones and travel as needed

Target Base Salary: $84,000 - $106,000
Base salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and needs of the business. Base salary is one part of our total compensation package, which includes benefits, perks, and a profit-sharing bonus.
