Role Overview

The Business Development team focuses on driving growth through meaningful partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and health systems. Embedded within Business Development, the ‘Strategic Projects’ team is looking for an Analyst to be a key player in enabling effective, efficient, and timely growth efforts.  


Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Special Projects, this role will utilize a blend of analytics, strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills across two functions:


  • Partner with one of our four Growth VPs to advance market specific growth strategies.
    • Analytics & Market Research: Perform analytics to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives, including analyzing market trends and forecasting new growth opportunities.
    • Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise materials for internal and external meetings (e.g. executive strategy sessions, pitch decks, etc.)
    • Growth Projects: Support the Growth VP in identifying new growth opportunities and creatively address challenges as they arise.
  • Support and optimize the tools our national team uses to identify, track, and win growth opportunities.
    • CRM System (Salesforce): Act as a key liaison between the Business Development team and DaVita’s Salesforce developers—gathering user feedback, assisting with testing and rollout of system enhancements, and training teammates on updated workflows.
    • AI & Process Improvement: Explore and pilot new ways to leverage AI to improve prospect research, streamline administrative workflows, and enhance growth strategies.
    • Cross Functional collaboration: Partner with other DaVita teams to make all relevant data and information accessible to our business development team.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales analytics, financial analysis, strategy, or a related role. (Experience with a healthcare provider is a plus).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, including experience creating presentation materials.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools is a strong plus.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Must be comfortable driving primarily independent work, while also effectively partnering and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to Vice Presidents.

Location & Travel:

  • Strong preference for candidates in Denver area
  • Average of 1-2 days in office per week with flexibility 
  • Occasional travel (approximately 5–10%) may be required

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
