The Opportunity That Awaits You:
The Strategic Initiative Sales Representative (SISR) is a business-critical sales role responsible for driving capital upgrades from AquaBeam® Systems to the Hydros™ platform and expanding adoption within Federal Government Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals. This role partners closely with the Capital team, Strategic Initiatives Director, clinicians, and hospital leadership to establish Aquablation® as the treatment of choice for men with BPH.
The SISR serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leads complex capital sales cycles, champions both the capital and innovation teams upgrade efforts, executes innovative pilots, and builds advocacy networks within hospitals to deliver sustained growth and market share expansion.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Sales & Growth
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas within the assigned territory.
- Drive system upgrades from AquaBeam Systems to Hydros platforms.
- Generate new and expansion capital sales across new and existing VA hospitals.
- Leads complex, multi-stakeholder capital sales cycles.
- Implement company-approved strategic initiative pilots to accelerate commercial growth.
- Territory & Strategy
- Partner with the Strategic Initiatives Director to develop and execute territory plans aligned with market dynamics.
- Collaborate with the IDN, Capital and Utilization teams on upgrade strategy and execution.
- Leverage IDN dashboards to prioritize physician and account targeting.
- Execute on weekly sales activity in alignment with the role.
- Execute on quarterly strategic imperatives to accelerate adoption of Aquablation and HYDROS in assigned accounts.
- Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts.
- Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with CEOs, senior hospital administrators, clinicians, and regional KOLs.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate the clinical, economic, and operational value of Hydros technology.
- Establish teams of advocates and highly engaged clinical champions within each hospital system .
- Identify local billing and coding opportunities and partner with Field Reimbursement teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Ensure the upgrade initiative is implemented as a top priory by supporting the IDN, Capital and Utilization teams by driving execution.
- Effectively transition new system sales to Launch and Clinical teams to drive utilization and adoption.
- Partner with Sales Management and Marketing to identify accounts requiring higher-level corporate engagement.
- Cultivate strong internal relationships across PROCEPT BioRobotics.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Maintain accurate CRM records for accounts, contacts, and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Sunshine Act requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain all hospital credentials and complete required training.
- Manage travel and expenses within approved budgets.
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS), Quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven success selling disruptive surgical technologies, preferably in high-growth or start-up environments.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to hospital executive leadership and senior administrators.
- Strong track record of executing growth strategies in healthcare settings.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret procedural data; advanced Excel proficiency required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, growth, and patient impact.
- Strong change management and solution-selling capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership through professional performance, athletics, or professional organizations.
- Minimum 8 years of medical device experience preferably with experience in capital equipment or program sales experience in the operating room environment preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.

For this role, the anticipated base pay is $120,000 a year.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
