Staff Accountant
Summary:
This role will predominately assist in the month-end financial statement preparation. This includes Balance Sheet reconciliations and Income Statement recognition and allocations. This position will assist in maintaining and converging with all US GAAP regulations. This role will also play an important role in assisting with federal grant management, cost accounting and other accounting/administrative responsibilities.

Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably with an emphasis in accounting
- 3+ years’ experience in the accounting field
Preferred Skills and Experience
- QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, all reference functions, etc.
- Additional experience with ERP.
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Public/PCAOB Accounting experience.
Work Environment
The employee occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. At times, a respirator is required personal protective equipment to mitigate inhalation hazards. Employees are required to undertake and pass a respirator medical evaluation and annual respirator fit test.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Compensation/Benefits
$60,000 - $75,000 annually depending on qualifications
