GEICO seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Strategist, Account Development to join our Independent Agent Sales team. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Agency Sales Engagement Strategy and will be responsible for strategic planning, campaign design, content development, and virtual experiences to boost agent engagement, drive profitable growth, and improve BD and AOM efficiency and efficacy. This role will have a direct impact on GEICO’s market share across its entire network of independent agent partners, and specifically agents without a dedicated sales resource .


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with Commercial Lines product, sales and platform leadership to identify opportunities to boost production and profitability.
  • Plan, build, deploy, measure and iterate on campaigns that drive product awareness and earlier and more profitable personal lines growth for all three agency deployments using scalable broad reach/virtual experiences. 
  • Own account development (growth/profitability) for 60% of agents that don’t have a dedicated Commercial Lines sales rep
  • Design and manage processes and off-the-shelf programming that leverage broad reach campaign learnings to advance phone and field account development.
  • Support Sales Enablement org as product/sales SMEs; own, update and manage agent-facing tools and content — slide decks, job aids, videos, collateral, webinars, sales call in-a-box, email/campaign templates
  • The chosen candidate should possess executive communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders across teams and business functions.
  • Identify and elevate opportunities to continuously improve results and strengthen agent experience.
  • Ability to use a variety of data to identify opportunities, design tests, determine impact, and iterate approach

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience as a marketing, communications or sales strategist.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
  • Executive communication skills (writing, influencing, persuading, presenting) and a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders from corporate headquarters to regional to individual office locations. 
  • Ability to use a variety of data to identify opportunities, design tests, determine impact, and iterate approach

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance with a focus on Commercial Lines.

LOCATION:

  • Remote with travel up to 5% (events, sales conference)
  • Opportunity to work in available office space at a regional GEICO office, not required


 

Annual Salary

$121,975.00 - $189,625.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
