Leads full-cycle recruiting for professional roles, partnering with hiring managers to define requirements, source and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre- and post-offer checks. Serves as a SuccessFactors subject matter expert, improves recruiting processes, manages staffing agency relationships, analyzes staffing metrics, and supports talent acquisition programs and workforce planning.
The Senior Corporate Recruiter partners with hiring managers for assigned client groups to staff professional year-round positions within Vail Resorts' Broomfield Headquarters while providing a high quality candidate and hiring manager experience, consistent with Vail Resorts mission: Experience of a Lifetime.
- Work with designated hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job specifications/requirements, competencies/skills required, understand business operations, and develop a recruiting strategy to fulfill each staffing need.
- Improve and enable the hiring manager experience by educating and guiding them in assessment, selection and planning techniques including behavioral interviewing, validated assessments, roundtable assessment meetings, compliance initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels including Internet, cold calling, networking, referrals, and social networks.
- Work with hiring manager to review candidates and determine interview roster.
- Leverage assessment tools to identify and select the best candidate when applicable
- Work with hiring manager and HR to extend offer and ensure pre/post offer checks are conducted.
- Manage the recruiting process to ensure efficient progression of candidates.
- Create a high quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors)
- Act as lead and change agent for talent acquisition programs and special projects such as but not limited to process efficiency, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction, metric analysis, and ATS adaptation.
- Build, sustain and manage relationships with 3rd party staffing agencies including headhunter/search firms, candidate research firms.
- Conducts business review with department leads to solicit feedback, highlight turnover, retention, staffing metrics, to build a proactive staffing model.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
- Staffing agency experience strongly desired
- Executive recruiting experience strongly preferred
- 5+ years of professional talent acquisition experience involving full-lifecycle recruiting and proven process efficiency and effectiveness
- SuccessFactors or similar ATS, Microsoft Office required.
- Demonstrated strong oral/written communication
- Experience in creatively identifying and securing sources of potential job candidates; including but not limited to networking, job-boards, online social networks, 3rd party database search (ie: Zoomerang, LinkedIn), blogging, etc.
